Romance Book Cover

Romance Book Cover Design Services

The romance genre is booming right now, and the prevalence of Amazon’s self-publishing platform has given rise to thousands of new authors, all vying for their own slice of the pie. InkBlimp designers have created numerous romance-themed book covers throughout the years and are here to help you craft your own visual masterpiece, whether your book is in the rom-com genre or is a little more risqué.

InkBlimp Romance Book Covers

All of the book covers you see on this page were created by the InkBlimp design team. We have a very small but highly-skilled team of designers who specialise in book covers and have worked for countless authors and publishing companies throughout the years.

They can create a cover that gets your book noticed, a cover that sells your idea to the world and ensures it pops right off the shelf. Just use the order button at the bottom of this page to begin your process, and within a few days, you could have a high-res cover ready to go to the printers or to be published on Amazon.

Our Process for Authors

Our romance book cover design team have worked with countless authors throughout the years, creating books based on very detailed specifications as well as completely vague ones. You choose how much information to give the designers, and they’ll create the best possible cover within those specifications.

Just follow the order process to input these details. You’ll be asked a few basic questions about the book, including the author name and book title, and you’ll also be asked to submit any descriptions, ideas, or image samples if you have them. You don’t have to use these fields if you don’t want to; just give them information as much as you’d like and they can do the rest.

Once you select a deadline, you will be given a final quote and can then make payment. The details you submit will then be sent to our design team and they will get to work. If they need any more information from you, they will request it, but our quote process is designed to prevent his from happening and to ensure they have the information they need.

You can request small changes if you need them, such as different colours or changes in the text, but complete redesigns are only available for our multi-cover packages.

We’re confident that we will deliver the highest quality work first time and well within the deadline. Our artists have never missed a deadline, because our process ensures that they are on track to meet the client’s demands every step of the way, and there is always an equally capable designer ready to step in if they are not. We’re so confident of this that we will refund your order by 50% if we are late by twenty-four hours and 100% if we’re late by a week!*

*Applies to all completed and accepted orders with fixed deadlines. Read our teams and conditions for more information.

Our Process for Publishers and Agencies

If you run a publishing house or a design agency and need regular, high-quality covers completed by the very best romance book cover designers, contact us. Tell us what you need and what sort of deadline you have, and if we can help, then we’ll get back in touch.

Just bear in mind that we can’t offer free covers to anyone, including publishing houses. We’re more than happy to look at discounts for a greater volume of work, but our designers need to get paid! If you want to sample our work before you consider bulk purchases, simply use the order process at the bottom of this page to make a single purchase.

What Makes a Good Romance Book Cover?

A good romance book cover, like any other cover, should reflect the story without giving too much away. It needs to stand out from other book covers and its genre should be obvious with just a single glance.

Our design team are experts in all of this and have created multiple successful romance book covers in the past, samples of which you can see on this page. An Idiot in Love, for instance, was downloaded/purchased over 50,000 times as an eBook and was eventually sold to a New York publishing house.

Many romance authors end up creating their covers themselves or paying an overpriced and underqualified freelance designer to do it for them. The end result is often a highly photoshopped stock image of a shirtless man, riding a horse, running on a beach, or just standing there looking pretty. It’s a generic, tired old format that won’t do your book any justice. So, forget about the generic and the boring and work with designers who will actually make your book shine!
