Nonfiction Book Cover

Nonfiction Book Cover Design Services

Nonfiction book sales have helped keep the traditional publishing industry alive in the last few years, thriving when other genres are failing. It’s also a genre that self-published authors have taken to, writing everything from biographies to self-help and historical nonfiction.

As with any other book genre, a nonfiction book needs a sound premise and a solid blurb to sell, but it also needs a good cover. That’s where we come in. InkBlimp nonfiction book cover designers have created a host of unique nonfiction eBook covers, helping authors and publishers reach new heights and get their books in front of a wider audience.

We can’t guarantee that our cover will get you on the bestseller list, nor can we be certain that it will skyrocket sales. However, we can guarantee that we will provide an eye-catching cover that perfectly represents your book and your vision. Take a look at our process and other information below to learn more about purchasing nonfiction eBook covers from InkBlimp.

InkBlimp Nonfiction Book Covers

All of the covers on this page have been produced by InkBlimp nonfiction cover designers. They will give you an idea of what you can expect when you agree to work with us.

If there is a specific cover that catches your eye and you would like the same designer to work on your project, just let us know in the order comments. You can discuss any part of this process with us in advance; we will be more than happy to help you. However, the order process is designed to be streamlined and comprehensive; it won’t take you long to complete and it will ensure that our cover designers have the information they need.

Nonfiction Book Covers for Authors

The InkBlimp nonfiction eBook cover creation process begins when you click “Order Now.” This will take you through the order process, during which you will be asked several questions about your project and what you hope you achieve.

Many of these fields are optional. Our eBook cover designers only require a name, title, and genre—they can use their creative license to fill in the gaps. They have created nonfiction book covers for countless authors and have experience working directly with major publishing houses, so they know what works and what sells.

If you have a very specific vision in mind, you can use these optional fields to tell us that vision, to include sample images, and even to send us an image that you would like to feature on the cover. In such cases, however, we advise you to check the copyright on that image to make sure you are allowed to use it.

Our eBook nonfiction cover designers don’t actually require any images to construct your book, so don’t worry if you don’t have these available. They will source the images they deem suitable and will ensure these are paid for and licensed. We maintain a database of images that we have taken ourselves, and these are all available to our book cover designers to use as needed.

In the event that these images are not suitable, our designers will acquire royalty-free images and we will cover the cost of these images.

Nonfiction Book Covers for Publishers and Agencies

If you run a design agency or a publishing house and need regular nonfiction eBook covers, we can help. We offer bulk discounts and can work to meet any deadline, within reason. We have worked with numerous independent publishers over the years, specializing in helping eBook publishing houses.

We cannot provide free samples or covers but encourage you to use the Order Form on this page to order an initial cover. After this, you can contact us directly to discuss large-scale projects.

What Makes a Good Nonfiction Book Cover?

A good nonfiction book cover requires a skilled touch and an experienced hand. It should convey the book’s exact genre and tone without giving too much away. This is much easier to do with genre fiction like horror and romance, but our nonfiction eBook cover designers are more than capable of doing it for all genres of nonfiction.

Nonfiction books typically have longer titles than their fiction counterparts, which can make the cover creation process that little bit harder. This is why you need someone who knows what they are doing and has the experience required to create a cover that will help your book jump off the shelves.
