Customer privacy is taken very seriously here at InkBlimp. We work to protect the information provided to us by our customers and will never sell, trade, lease, or give away this information. The following terms detail the methods we use to protect customer information.

Your General Privacy

We value your privacy and endeavour to keep your information safe at all times. At no point will we sell your information, nor will we use it to send unsolicited marketing emails. For most users of this website, only the most basic information will be requested, and this depends on the specific service:

Contact Forms: When you use a contact form, you will be asked to provide basic details about yourself, your company, and your project. This information will be logged in our system. It will be used to formulate a reply and, if desired, a quote. It will be stored indefinitely for record purposes but will not be used to send unsolicited marketing emails.
Phone/Live Chat: We prefer to receive information by email and through account pages but may also utilise phone and Live Chat support. In such cases, we will never record or store phone conversations but may store chat logs indefinitely. These logs will then be used to pass on relevant project information to our freelancers and to ensure we keep a log of all project activity and customer demands.
Order: When you place an order through the InkBlimp website (when and where relevant), we will request basic information so that we can contact you about your order. If the order is processed through the site, payment details may also be taken, but these will be processed through a third-party provider and will not be stored on our servers or seen by our team members. Project-Specific Privacy

We operate a small team, and only a handful of individuals will be granted access to a client’s project. Our creators can sign specific nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) if required.

For highly sensitive projects, steps can be taken to reduce the number of individuals working on a specific project or ensure this project only goes through the owners and main operators of the company. In any case, we are only a small company, and projects rarely go through more than a couple of content creators.

Marketing

Your information will never be added to a marketing newsletter without your direct consent. We contact customers and users of the website only when necessary, such as when we’re discussing a project or replying to a query. Newsletters may be created, and marketing emails may be sent, but in such cases, we always use double-opt-in protocols and make it easy to unsubscribe.

At all times, your information will only be accessible by a small number of InkBlimp team members.

Your Right to be Forgotten

You have a right to be forgotten and can request that we delete all details we have on you, regardless of how small or seemingly insignificant these details are. We are unable to remove order histories, as these are needed for tax and accounting purposes, but we can remove contact information and other personal information we may have on file.

What Info We Collect

Most of the information we collect and store relates to basic personal details, but we store more information on customers. The information we collect includes:

Contact Details: Including your name and email address. This info is used to contact you about queries and projects. Phone numbers can also be provided but are not essential and are rarely used.
Project/Company: Information pertaining to your business and your project. This is used to complete the work and to store a record of it for training and accounting purposes.
Messages: The messages you send to us and share with our creators may be stored indefinitely in our system. This includes, but is not limited to, emails, Live Chat, and texts.
Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to better understand who is using this website and how they are using it. The data collected will be used to analyse and improve the site and includes information such as platform, device, time, location, and pages visited. However, it does not gather names, addresses, contact details, or other user-specific information.
