Before transitioning to freelancing, Paul Aitken, the founder of InkBlimp, self-published several novels under the name David Jester. He turned to his friend Yiota Michael, now InkBlimp’s head designer, to design the covers. A year and 200,000 sales later, a US publishing house picked up the books and kept Yiota on as a designer.

Yiota continues to design book covers for select InkBlimp clients. Although we primarily work with publishing companies, we’re also happy to take the odd job from traditionally published and self-published clients and can design any cover from scratch or to the client’s specifications.
