Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions described herein relate to InkBlimp (“Company,” “We,” “Us,” “The Site”) and its Users (“Customer,” “You”). Prospective Customers are advised to read these terms before placing an order through The Site. Further information can be obtained via the Company Privacy Policy or by contacting us here.

1. Orders

a. Payments made to the Company are processed via a third-party provider and the Company does not store financial data, nor are We responsible for keeping any of this information secure.

b. The Company’s operations are governed by UK law.

c. All orders constitute an agreement between the Customer and the Company, one that is based on the type of purchase and the details provided during that purchase.

d. Orders are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse orders when we believe we cannot meet the Customer’s needs.

e. All information provided during the order process will be acted upon by the Company. The Customer is responsible for ensuring this information is accurate, and We will not be held liable if the Customer changes the scope of the project following completion of the project.

f. In the event of a pricing or availability mistake, We reserve the right to cancel orders without prior warning. In such cases, a refund will be provided.

2. Refunds and Cancellations

a. Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of the Company.

b. In the event that a refund is provided following an agreement between the Company and the Customer, all rights to the completed work will return to the Company.

c. Refunds can only be processed to the initial payment method and will always be processed by a third-party provider. We make no guarantees as to when this money will arrive but endeavour to process the payment as soon as possible.

d. We will not return any credit card, web wallet, or bank transfer fees that were previously charged, or accrue, following a refund.

3. Rights and Responsibility

b. Although We do everything within our power to meet deadlines, there may be times when this is not possible. In such instances, We will endeavour to warn the Customer prior to the deadline and cannot be held responsible for Customer losses that accrue following such unforeseen circumstances.

a. Unless otherwise stated, copyrights for all commissioned work will transfer to the Customer upon receipt of payment. Work that has not been paid for or has been fully refunded will remain with the Company.

c. The Company endeavours to complete all work to a high standard and ensure this work meets a Customer’s guidelines. However, We cannot be held responsible for losses, fines, penalties, and other issues resulting from inaccuracies and mistakes, whether these are the result of the creator or a guideline oversight.

4. The Website

a. All information on The Site was created for the Company by a team of developers, writing, editors, and artists. This original work may not be used on any other site without the Company’s express permission.

b. We will not be held responsible for the use or misuse of the information contained within The Site, including blog articles that provide advice, tips, and other such information.

c. We reserve the right to change our products, services, website, and terms. All changes will automatically take effect and the continued use of this Site and the Company’s services will constitute acceptance of these terms.

5. Client Privacy

a. For information concerning NDAs, project privacy, and related information, consult our Privacy Policy, which is linked at the top of this page and in the footer below.

6. Creator Tools

a. InkBlimp is a human-led content agency. We do not use AI to create prompts, written content, logos, images, or anything else.

b. Due to the unreliable and heavily flawed nature of so-called “AI Checkers”, we do not and will never promise that our texts will be “100% human” according to these tools. Under no circumstances will we agree to rewrite some or all of a text purely because these tools erroneously regard it as “AI”. However, we ask all of our content creators to record their screens using Loom video capture, and these videos are available to clients upon request.

c. InkBlimp creators may use various tools to support their work. These include keyword software such as Semrush for SEO; spellcheckers, MS Word/Google Docs for written content; and photo-editing software for graphic design. We endeavour to protect all client materials when using these programs, but cannot be held responsible for data breaches/hacks that result in information being extracted from such tools and services.
